Designing for the changing healthcare environment

In September 2016, Christopher Roosen from Cognitive Ink spoke at a HISA (Health Informatics Society of Australia) and eHealth NSW event on the topic of Patient Experience and User Design in Healthcare. How do we continue to adapt, enhance patient care, redesign services and provide a better patient experience in a rapidly changing healthcare world?

It was a great lineup of speakers and thank you to everyone who attended! Christopher's talk covered four key principles of ensuring success for design projects: Ensure the right problem is being solved for, design for all the people involved (e.g., patient caregivers and families), consider the entire journey, and embrace changes required to organisational culture as a part of any project.
